Read about the four types of Sylvania 12AX7 here!
Manufactured roughly from 1960 to 1975, Sylvania 12AX7's are some of the most popular 12AX7's in valve history!
Widely used by household names in electronics, it is not uncommon to see Sylvania tubes labeled as Fender, Airline, Gibson, Silvertone, or Hammond. Dozens of major companies relied heavily on Sylvania-made valves through the heyday of analog electronics.
What makes these tubes special is the unique long plates that only Sylvania manufactured. Unlike many long plate tubes, Sylvania preamp tubes may actually add (a little) headroom to your rig. This, while maintaining the warmth we all love and desire from our vintage long plate tubes makes Sylvania 12AX7's a no-brainer.
Best known for their amazing clean tones, Sylvania 12AX7's are as "at home" in blackface Twin Reverbs as they are in modern 5W amps or your home stereo system.
We recommend them to anyone who is playing clean and especially for use in pedal platform amps!

NOS vs. ANOS vs. Test NOS
These designations are strictly used to describe the cosmetic condition of our tubes. All tubes we sell test identically, come with 100% life and are guaranteed to work in your device!
If you are picky about owning an original box or wanting a specific logo please reach out to us before purchasing.
Logos: Vintage tubes have a wide variety of logos printed on them. It is not uncommon to see a Mullard made tube with an RCA or GE logo, or a GE made tube with a Mullard logo. Your tube may come with a logo such are Heath Kit, Baldwin, Fisher, Hammond, Magnavox, Fender, Gibson, Silvertone, etc. but the true manufacturer of that tube will be correct to your order. If you are looking for a specific logo please reach out before purchase.
