Vintage 1967 Blackface Fender Twin Reverb Custom
You are looking at a one of a kind ‘67 Twin Reverb that is decked out with top of the line vintage and modern components.
The amp boasts a professionally reconed JBL D130F, a brand new MojoTone blackface cabinet, a tightly matched pair of RCA 6L6GC black plates, RCA 7025, 12AX7A and 12AT7. The chrome pieces and front logo are original pieces. We will also include the original handle- but the Mojotone handle is sturdy and usable.
The D130F was originally made as a bass speaker, but was indeed an original upgrade option for the ‘67 Twin Reverb- and was advertised in Fender’s catalogue along with this amp. If you are new to speakers, this is a holy grail of clean and clear. If you would like- we can include a 15" Eminence speaker for + $30.
A brief backstory to the amp:
Original owner used the amp for half his lifetime, he played gigs on occasion throughout his life with this amp. As he got old, he decided to make a head out of the amplifier to cut down on how heavy it was. And he suck the amp in a funky home made head with purple shag carpet. Since in our possession, we have "rescued" it and taken it in a direction of our own.
Amp has been maintained and recapped.
