Fender Deluxe Reverb Tube Sets

GE & RCA Vintage USA Tubes

These Fender Deluxe Reverb tube sets are built exclusively with vintage GE and RCA vacuum tubes, two of the most important American manufacturers of the Fender golden era. These are the tubes that originally powered countless blackface and silverface amps, shaping the sound players still chase today.

Chosen specifically for Deluxe Reverb circuits, GE and RCA tubes are known for their consistency, low noise, and musical response. Expect clear, articulate cleans, lush reverb, smooth tremolo, and a natural transition into breakup without harsh edges.

All tubes in these sets are ANOS (Almost New Old Stock). ANOS examples may show light cosmetic signs of age or use—often worn logos or faint handling marks—but are electrically strong and test to NOS performance standards.

Plate Style & Tone

Different plate constructions influence how a Deluxe Reverb responds:

  • Black plates – best for earlier breakup, warmth, and a softer feel

  • Short plates – best for clean headroom, focus, and low noise

  • Long plates – the best balance of clarity, depth, and harmonic richness

Plate styles are selected with intention based on how players actually use these amps.

What’s Included in Every Set

Each Deluxe Reverb tube set includes the correct vintage tube complement, all GE and RCA:

  • 4 × 12AX7

  • 2 × 12AT7 (we always include two free RCA or GE 12AT7s)

  • 1 × 5AR4 / GZ34

  • 2 × 6V6GT

All tubes are tested, matched, and approved for Deluxe Reverb use.

Logos & Appearance

Logos on vintage GE and RCA tubes are often worn, faded, or partially missing, especially on ANOS examples. Branding may vary, but the tube type, construction, and manufacturer will always be GE or RCA, exactly as specified.

If you’re looking for a specific logo or era, please reach out before purchasing.

These GE and RCA tube sets are for players who want a Deluxe Reverb that sounds correct—clear, responsive, and unmistakably American.

NOS vs. ANOS vs. Test NOS

These designations are strictly used to describe the cosmetic condition of our tubes. All tubes we sell test identically, come with 100% life and are guaranteed to work in your device!

If you are picky about owning an original box or wanting a specific logo please reach out to us before purchasing.

  1. NOS (New Old Stock) Tubes- are 100% brand new vintage tubes in mint cosmetic condition with show zero signs of use. You should expect a legible logo and clean straight pins. An original box is likely but not guaranteed.
  1. ANOS Tubes- otherwise known as “almost new old stock” tubes are basically new, but may show slight signs of use in cosmetic condition, such as a missing logo or slightly bent pins. An original box is possible but unlikely.
  1. Test NOS Tubes- are used but still operating to specification with 100% life. These tubes are equal in function to NOS valves, yet they cost considerably less because they have cosmetic blemishes. If you plan to disappear your tubes into the back of an amplifier or do not care what the tubes look like, then this is cost effective choice. Blemishes and cosmetic imperfections do not affect tone…

Logos: Vintage tubes were have a wide variety of logos printed on them. It is not uncommon to see a Mullard made tube with an RCA or GE logo, or a GE made tube with a Mullard logo. Your tube may come with a logo such are Heath Kit, Baldwin, Fisher, Hammond, Magnavox, Fender, Gibson, Silvertone, etc. but the true manufacturer of that tube will be correct to your order. If you are looking for a specific logo please reach out before purchase.
